What’s new
What changed on the map, newest first.
2 November 2026
- In RuneLite: 1.4.0 is here. Version 1.4.0 is now on the Plugin Hub. You no longer need this website to get started, and Open the map brings it up already in your group.
- In RuneLite: Connect and invite. Press Connect in the sidebar to make your group, then Copy invite to send it. A friend pastes the invite into their own sidebar and presses Join.
- In RuneLite: Route here. Right-click any spot on the game’s world map and choose Route here to plan the way there.
- In RuneLite: your step on screen. Press Follow to show the step you’re on in a small box over the game, so the sidebar can stay closed.
- In RuneLite: farm and port-task runs. Start a farm run from Home, or send one from the website, and follow it stop by stop. The port tasks you hold become one run too, in an order that fits your boat’s hold.
- In RuneLite: star routes on Stars. Press Route on a star’s site and the steps show under the star, so you can stay on Stars while you hop.
- In RuneLite: gravestone time left. After you die, the sidebar shows how long your gravestone has left, from the game’s own timer.
- In RuneLite: sharing in six switches. Settings now has one sharing switch for each kind of data, six in all. Updating keeps what you already share, and after a first Connect one press turns on all but Where you died.
- Friends near real places. A friend’s location names the nearest real landmark, never a clue step, a quest or an agility obstacle, and says “south-east of Ardougne”, not “near South-east of Ardougne”. The RuneLite sidebar says the same.
- More ways through dungeons. Routes now use the Motherlode Mine’s rockfalls, the Twilight Temple lift into the Ruins of Tapoyauik and the Tombs of Amascut entrance. The web tunnel to Araxxor now asks for 92 Slayer.

- A map picture on underground pages. Pages for places in dungeons, upstairs and in underground towns like Keldagrim and Zanaris now show the ground around them under Getting there, as surface places already did.
- More teleports on travel cards. Cards now offer the Archivist's folio, and Drakan's medallion still reaches Slepe. Settings has a box for the Slepey tablet that unlocks Slepe.
- Music cape needs every track. A new song takes the cape off until you unlock it, so Settings has a box for that too. Until you say otherwise, the card assumes you have every track.
- Prifddinas asks for its quest. Every way into the city, its gates and its teleports, now asks for Song of the Elves, and so do the Slayer spots inside it and under it.
- Rowboats around the Great Conch. Cards now offer the Great Conch's rowboats between The Summer Shore and the island's coasts, once you have started Troubled Tortugans.
- Five more scrolls in the book. The master scroll book now offers its Guthixian temple, spider cave, colossal wyrm, chasm and Ardeaglais teleports on cards, beside the scrolls themselves.
29 October 2026
- In RuneLite: 1.3.0 is here. Version 1.3.0 is now on the Plugin Hub, with routes, search and friends together in the sidebar.
- In RuneLite: routes to follow. Follow numbered travel steps with map pins and Reroute. With Shortest Path installed, Follow draws each walking step as you reach it.
- In RuneLite: search from Home. Search for places, people and items from the sidebar, including shops and drops. Plan routes to a clue, your gravestone, a precise star site or a meetup.
- In RuneLite: friends and meetups. See friends’ locations, levels and drops in Group. Create and answer meetups, turn on a reminder, or plan a route to a friend’s shared position.
- In RuneLite: a clearer sidebar. Home, Group and Stars have their own tabs, with Settings behind the gear. Search, friends’ news, clues and world filters use the game’s own pictures.
- In RuneLite: easier sharing setup. After Connect, one clearly labelled choice enables the recommended sharing. Everything starts off; you choose what to share and can change it in Settings.
- In RuneLite: Slayer tasks fixed. Slayer task names now read correctly, including boss tasks and Konar areas, so the website can show the right task.
- Best Slayer spot first. The Slayer list ranks your task’s places, numbers them on the map, and greys out the ones you can’t use yet with what they need. Wilderness spots stay hidden until you show them.
- Teleports that land upstairs count. Routes now include the climb down, so Karamja gloves 4 takes you straight to Duradel.
- Safer safe routes. Avoiding the Wilderness now avoids the dungeons beneath it too.
- Port tasks and sea routes. Task boards list their courier and bounty tasks, best value first, and monsters at sea get a sailing route.
- Catch up with your group. The Activity page marks what’s new since your last visit, and meetups you haven’t seen say New.
- Friends show by name. A friend who shares their character name is drawn with it on the map, in their own colour, instead of as “Me”.
- Clearer RuneLite setup. Connection instructions show the sharing shortcut when offered, with a settings option for sharing just your dot.
- An easier map to scan. Search can frame its results, active layers keep their colour, and farm-run markers stay clear of the map’s controls.
- Clearer cards and farming controls. Travel steps are easier to read, place pages repeat less, and farm runs keep saving and moving between stops within reach.
- Companion follows what you’re doing. Your Slayer list folds away while you train another skill, friends use clearer landmarks, and empty sections stay out of the way.
- Clearer farm-run actions. The farm panel offers planning, saving and run links. The send button waits until RuneLite can follow a whole run.
